Help: Main Page

The DC Password Manager allows you to create and maintain password records. Each password record contains information related to the use of a password. This includes: user id; the password itself; the URL where the password is used; the name of the password record; and a note. You can create categories for your password records, and associate each password record with one or more categories you create. This allows you to group and better manage your password records. The DC Password Manager also contains a configurable random password generator, that allows you to create passwords of a wide range of specified lengths, with just the click of a button.

On Screen Buttons

The following shows the buttons that are seen and are available, on the main screen of the app:

Sync Data

(Indicates changes were made to local data. Button, manually syncs local data changes to the cloud.)

Add New Record

(Button starts the creation of a new record.)

Edit Record

(Button starts the edition of a record.)

Save Record

(Button saves changes made to a record, locally.)

Clear Changes

(Button clears changes made to a record.)

Help

(Invokes the help web page for the main page of the app.)

The following shows an interactive view of the main screen in its default configuration. To reach the main screen, you must first register to use the DC Password Manager, and then login.
